ZS Tūmeņi

The beginnings of the farm “Tūmeņi” date back to 2012, and since then we have continued to grow and develop.
The number of bee colonies at “Tūmeņi” varies, but in summer it can reach as many as five hundred.
To ensure there are enough flowering fields for the bees to forage, the hives are placed in 17 different locations – in nearby marshes, forests, and meadows.
We also have our own buckwheat fields, where the bees gather rich buckwheat honey; from the old linden trees planted by our ancestors comes the fragrant linden blossom honey; and from the marshlands – the valuable heather honey.
The abundantly blooming meadows are the source of the amber-yellow wildflower honey.
In a pure, natural environment, bees can be happy. And together with our bees, we are happy too.
